Paddle board Day trips

Our paddleboard day trips are designed for those who already feel comfortable on a board and are ready to enjoy longer, more adventurous journeys on the water. These sessions offer extended time afloat, giving you the chance to settle into a steady rhythm, explore further, and fully immerse yourself in the landscape around you.

The routes are chosen for their scenic beauty and gentle flow, with wide open stretches that allow you to relax into your paddling and enjoy the experience without rush or pressure. You’ll be guided throughout the trip, with plenty of opportunities to pause, take in the views, and enjoy the wildlife and reflections that make these waterways so special.

These day trips are perfect for paddlers who have mastered the basics and want to build confidence over longer distances. Whether you’re looking to deepen your skills, enjoy a peaceful journey through nature, or simply spend more time on the water, our routes make extended paddleboarding accessible, rewarding, and unforgettable.

Equipment

We provide all the essential equipment for your paddleboard trip, including a high‑quality board, adjustable paddle, and a buoyancy aid — everything ready for you on arrival so you can head straight onto the water with confidence.

We recommend bringing a drink and some snacks to keep you fuelled throughout the day. Some of our longer trips require you to bring your own lunch, while others include a stop at a riverside pub. A spare warm layer is also a good idea, especially as the weather can change while you’re out on the water.

Please wear suitable clothing for being on the water and bring a change of clothes. Closed‑toe shoes are recommended for grip and protection when launching, landing, and portaging around locks.

If you prefer to use your own kit, you’re welcome to bring it along. For safety, all participants must wear a properly fitted buoyancy aid, and any personal boards must be used with a quick‑release belt.
