Paddle board half Day trips

Our half‑day paddleboard trips are ideal for paddlers who have mastered the basics and are ready to enjoy a longer, more immersive experience on the water — without committing to a full‑day journey. These sessions give you time to settle into your paddling, explore further, and enjoy the calm, scenic stretches of the river at a comfortable pace.

The routes are chosen for their gentle flow and beautiful surroundings, offering wide open water where you can relax into your rhythm and build confidence over a longer distance. You’ll be guided throughout the trip, with plenty of opportunities to pause, take in the views, and enjoy the wildlife and reflections that make these waterways so special.

Half‑day trips are perfect for those who feel comfortable on a board for extended periods and want to deepen their skills, enjoy a peaceful adventure, or simply spend more time gliding through nature. It’s a rewarding step up from beginner sessions — relaxed, scenic, and designed to help you grow as a paddler while still keeping things accessible and enjoyable.

Equipment

We provide all the essential equipment for your paddleboard trip, including a high‑quality board, adjustable paddle, and a buoyancy aid — everything ready for you on arrival so you can head straight onto the water with confidence.

We recommend bringing a drink and some snacks to keep you fuelled throughout the day. Some of our longer trips require you to bring your own lunch, while others include a stop at a riverside pub. A spare warm layer is also a good idea, especially as the weather can change while you’re out on the water.

Please wear suitable clothing for being on the water and bring a change of clothes. Closed‑toe shoes are recommended for grip and protection when launching, landing, and portaging around locks.

If you prefer to use your own kit, you’re welcome to bring it along. For safety, all participants must wear a properly fitted buoyancy aid, and any personal boards must be used with a quick‑release belt.
